Directions from Durham Train Station: Lumley Castle is approx 15km from Durham train station, the most convenient way of traveling is by taxi, obtainable from the taxi rank just outside platform 2.
Directions by car: A1(M) junction 63. Take the turn off for Chester le Street and follow signs for Riverside. You will then pick up signs for Lumley Castle.

Direct train from Manchester airport station to Durham (approx 2:40 hours)

• London Heathrow (450km)

Somewhat more complicated, Either take london Underground from Heathrow Airport to Kings Cross (approx 50mins) OR
