BUSSTEPP 2024 will take place between Aug 27 - Sept 7 2024 at the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom.

BUSSTEPP (British Universities Summer School in Theoretical Elementary Particle Physics) is a long-established summer school aimed at PhD students in theoretical particle/high energy physics and cosmology who have completed a year of graduate studies. Main topics covered in the school will be:

Advanced Quantum Field Theory

Beyond the Standard Model

Cosmology

AdS/CFT and Holography

Modern Quantum Field Theory for Real-World Gravity

Phenomenology

String Theory 

Lattice Field Theory

Dark Matter

The school is free for STFC funded and UK self-funded students. Non-STFC and international students are also invited to apply and will be charged a fixed amount to cover accommodation/meals etc. Total number of places is limited.
