The provisional programme for the meeting can be found here - note that while we intend to follow the format of previous meetings by having one full day of talks and two half-days, this year the meeting will start after lunch on Thursday (18th December 2003) and end at lunchtime on Saturday (20th December 2003). There will be a Theory Town Meeting at 9.00am on Saturday 20th December - details will be circulated via HiPhi in due course.

Information about Grey College

Accommodation will be in Grey College for the duration of your stay in Durham. All meals will be taken in the Dining Room in Grey: breakfast, buffet lunch and formal dinner. Please inform us of any special dietary requirements.
It is important that you advise us as soon as possible if you wish to arrive earlier or stay later than the days of the meeting or if you need to make any other arrangements.
The meeting commences with a buffet lunch at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday 18th December in Grey College. You will be able to register from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. and then from 6:15 p.m. onwards. Rooms are to be vacated after breakfast on Saturday 20th December and luggage can be left with reception.
The talks will be held in the Appleby Lecture Theatre in the Geography Department building on the Umiversity's Science Site, close to the Physics Department and a three minute walk from Grey College. The location of Grey College (marked 8), the Geography and Physics buildings (marked 12) and the railway station are shown on the University map.
Durham is easily reached by train from all parts of the country. Should you wish to travel by car and require parking, please advise us as soon as possible as this has to be arranged in advance with the college. Please travel as cheaply as possible, as we will normally refund travel up to a Saver railfare only.
