Agenda

A window on the dark world: From Cosmology to the LHC

An exciting programme of lectures and hands-on sessions will explore the links between cosmology & particle physics:

  1. An overview on hot topics in cosmology with an emphasis on large-scale structure formation and the cosmic microwave background.
  2. New and recent findings in particle astrophysics, and their interpretation from a particle physics point of view.
  3. Implications for the LHC, in particular the search for dark matter candidates.
  4. Review of Tools for Beyond the Standard Model searches at the LHC and the Tevatron, with the opportunity to try them out in practical sessions.
